Malaysia Launches AI Literacy Program: AI Untuk Rakyat

In a move aimed at raising the literacy level of the public on artificial intelligence (AI), the Malaysian government, in collaboration with Intel Malaysia, introduced AI Literacy Program. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officially launched the initiative at Universiti Putra Malaysia, marking a significant step towards boosting AI awareness and understanding among the populace. 

Dubbed "AI for Rakyat (People)", the program is an online self-learning programme designed to increase public understanding and awareness of AI. It provided in four languages and can be accessed through the www.ai.gov.my portal and targets one million users this year.
