Marcos Jr. says people "voted for unity"

Ferdinand Marcos Jr., said he intended to "hit the ground running" after he declared victory in this week's presidential election. Marcos Jr. had more than 30.8 million votes in the unofficial results. His vice-presidential running mate, Sara Duterte, the daughter of Rodrigo Duterte, also won in an apparent landslide.They will take office on June 30 after the results are confirmed by Congress.
