Meeting with Local Residents: SAC Chairman met with local residents in Chauk

State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing together with wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and members of entourage met with the district level departmental officials, Township Elders at the meeting hall of the Chauk Township General Administration Department and discussed regarding the regional development matters.

First, the Chauk District Acting district administrator U Kyaw Soe clarified the information of the region, status of implementing cultivation and livestock breeding, arrangement of shelters to escape from heat in the summer and plans to further construction of the shelters, the Township elders reported to fulfill the health requirements, planting the trees to be pushed to be successful as the region where the scorching heat is suffered, difficulty for the drinking water, to develop highway terminal as the traffic congestion is worsening, requirements for the regional developments, taking action against the squatters in the oil field area and other necessary matters.

In responding to the reports, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister gave supplemented discussions including implementation of 13 districts greening project, the state will carry out to grow the trees at Chauk Township the sides of the Road, the residents also need to grow the plants in the compound and surrounding and the Ayeyawady River Water Pumping Project will be implemented and the requirement for water will be fulfilled.

Next, the Union Ministers also gave the supplemented discussions in the related sectors. In his remark, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister said that the State Administration Council is implementing in line with the future work programs, especially the development for the socio-economic life of the people. The fundamental requirement for the economic success is the higher education.

For the economic development in Chauk region, the production of the local products is needed to strengthen. As the Chauk area is a good industrial based region for its petroleum production and has good history, at the moment, MSMEs should be implemented to be successful. The good human resources endowed with the knowledge and skills are needed to carry out the successful MSME industries.

The SAC Chairman Prime Minister also pointed out to construct the Pagodas with the cave in it to be religious monument, local landmark as well as heat shelters in the time of scorching summer. After completing the meeting, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister provided foodstuff to the local residents and Town’s elders and cordially greeted them, it’s learnt.
