Meeting with the personnel: MoC UM gave a speech at the meeting

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn delivered a speech at the meeting with ministry’s staff, held at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Union Minister urged the staff to carry out their assigned office duties vigorously, starting from the Myanmar New Year and make exerted effort to meet the export target in this fiscal year while reviewing the strengths and weaknesses encountered previous year.

He then emphasized the needs to cooperate with the government and the private sector, in order to increase the exports. After that, the Deputy Minister underlined the requirements to establish the processes, in line with the current situation to implement the visions and missions of the ministry.

He then gave instructions to the staff to learn not only the export/import policy but other related policies as well and to strive for timely work completion, in accordance with the Ministry's guidelines. And, the Directors General of departments under the Ministry gave a briefing on work undertakings, respectively and a total of 1,216 departmental personnel attended the meeting; 302 in person and 914 via online.
