Greek authorities evacuated an overcrowded camp for asylum-seekers on the island of Samos late Monday after a large fire broke out. The camp was reportedly housing more than 4,000 people despite only being designed to accommodate a few hundred. It's unclear what started the blaze but it followed clashes between Afghans and Syrians earlier Monday in which three people were injured. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Last month, an asylum-seeker died in a fire that swept through a camp on the island of Lesbos.
