MSMEs Trade Fair: Aiming for MSMEs development in Bago Region

With the aims for creating market opportunities for the micro, small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs and having competitive market, the MSMEs trade fair and market festival was opened at the Shwe Mawdaw Pagoda in Bago on 6th November. 

U Tin Oo, Minister of Economy, Bago Region Government, said " We organize the trade fair for the development of MSMEs in the region. Our Bago Region has good prospects for the business. By using the existing natural resources, we hope we can conduct development of economic sector of the region and promoting socio-economic life of the people in a short period while implementing industrial and MSMEs development in the region."  

Officials also provide technical assistance and information that are necessary for MSME start-up businesses and dispatch to the trainings and workshops in local and abroad.

Dr Ye Myint Oo, Managing Director, Machine City, said " We provide technical assistance for MSME business owners to be able to distribute their products not only in the region but also in all parts of the country, making the food to be preserved and to be hygiene and more attractive in packaging for export." 

In the Bago Region MSME trade fair and market festival, 152 shops were displayed for promoting the market of local MSME products.
