Myanmar / China: Visit to Naval Training Command Headquarters

A Chinese goodwill delegation led by Senior Captain Sun Bo of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy visited the Naval Training Command Headquarters on Tuesday morning.

The delegation discussed with the officials of the Tatmadaw (Navy) about the maritime security exercise and provided stationeries to the students studying at the Basic Education High School (Seikkyi) in the Thanlyin station.

Later the day, the delegation enjoyed an honourary dinner hosted by the commander of the local naval command. And, the officers and other ranks of the Tatmadaw (Navy) went on study tour to the Chinese naval vessels. It’s reported that the Chinese naval delegation also visited prominent places in Yangon.
