Myanmar-India: DPM MoPF UM received Indian ambassador to Myanmar

The Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein received Ambassador of the Republic of India Mr. Abhay Thakur at the Ministry at 12 on 10th of May.

During the call, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister first congratulated Mr. Abhay Thakur for being accredited as India Ambassador to Myanmar and said that Myanmar-India bilateral friendly relation will be further developed during his tour of duty of in Myanmar.

Then, they cordially exchanged views on the Banking and monetary matters, payment on the bilateral trade, financial loan, public financial management and providing training on insurance. Also present at the call were the Deputy Minister U Maung Maung Win and departmental officials, it’s learnt.
