Observance Days: Police Force Day and International Day of Older Persons

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin attended a ceremony to commemorate the 59th anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day in Sittwe on Sunday.

In his speech, the Chief Minister urged the police members to equip themselves with patriotism, capability, and modernity while striving to become a better image of the Myanmar Police Force. After reading out the message sent by the Chief of Myanmar Police Force, honorary awards were presented to the outstanding members.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister attended a ceremony to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons and gave an opening speech. During the ceremony, cash and kind assistance were provided to the elderly persons.
