Opening of new hospital building: MoH Union Minister gave an opening speech

In honoring and hailing the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, the ceremony of commissioning into service of new 2-storey building of the Nattalin Township People’s Hospital was held in the morning on 26th March and attended by the Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and officials.

First, the Union Minister, Chief Minister and Director General of the Department of Medical Service opened the new 2-storey hospital building by cutting the ceremonial ribbon, took the documentary group photo and the inscription was sprinkled with the scented water in commemoration of the opening ceremony.

Next, the Union Minister and Chief Minister together with the officials viewed the OPD, Dispensary, laboratory, X-Ray room, dental and oral health OPD, medical warehouse in ground floor and operation theater and ward for members of Sangha at the first floor of the new 2-story building.

The second part of opening ceremony was continued at the temporary pandal in front of the new 2-storey building and the Union Minister for Health said that this is the day of honor and happiness for being able to open the new 2-storey building in Nattalin Township People’s Hospital. The Ministry of Health is putting strenuous effort with the collaboration of related ministries and regions and states governments for the harmonious development of the public health, diseases prevention and controlling, basic health care and medical service works based on the 2 objectives of the Ministry and the future work programs, objectives and policies of the State by taking as work guidance. For being able to open such quality standard met and spacious 2-storey hospital building, not only the people in Nattalin Township but also patients from neighboring townships will receive the medical Services well. All responsible persons supported for the successful completion of the new building are especially thankful and all are urged to give collective maintenance for the sustainability and development of the public health care Services.

Next, the Bago Region Chief minister explained about opening the new 2-storey hospital building and staff officer of Bago Region Medical Service Department presented gifts in commemoration of the opening ceremony.
