Paid homage to the pagoda: SAC Chairman paid homage to Shwe Hsan Taw pagoda

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, together with the members accompanied the trip and their wives, Bago Region Chief Minister and the Commander of Southern Command paid homage to the Shwe Hsan Taw Pagoda which is the landmark of Pyay Township of Bago Region in the evening on Tuesday.

First, at the Shwe Hsan Taw Pagoda, members of the pagoda board of trustee led U Soe win welcomed the SAC chairman prime minister and party.

Then, the Buddha image made of bamboo strips at the pagoda was paid homage and offered flower, water and candle light. Next, the SAC Chairman prime minister and party viewed the museum of the pagoda and instructed the responsible persons to maintain the historical records and the requirement of renovation for the museum.

Then, the SAC Chairman prime minister and party paid homage to the pagoda in the clickwise direction, instructed to carry out the renovations without spoiling the ancient original works and gave the five strikes to the bell at the pagoda.

Afterward, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister signed on the guest book of the Shwe Hsan Taw pagoda, donated cash for the all-round renovation works of the pagoda and the members of pagoda board of trustee accepted the donation, it’s learnt.
