Voters casted their ballots in the general elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The quadruple ballot was scheduled for one day, but has been extended due to logistical problems, officially by one day but extending into Christmas in some areas.

The central African nation's electoral commission announced results for Congolese voters living in South Africa, Belgium, France, Canada and the United States. The results indicated a provisional lead for incumbent President Felix Tshisekedi, who is running for a second term.
