Every weekend a growing number of Korean pop music fanatics gather together in a cultural centre in Lima dubbed as Boulevard Kpop, which has become the meeting point for the South Korean music genre's popularity in Peru.

During the meeting, fans share choreographies, fashions, merchandising and pictures of their favourite artists to spread the Kpop culture. Kpop is an original musical genre from South Korea, which emerged in the early 90s. During the coronavirus lockdown, many young people spent hours at home dancing these rhythms, but now that restrictions are relaxing, some choose to take to the streets to share their passion.
