Pre-dinner hosted: SAC Chairman and wife hosted Armed Forces Day pre-dinner

The State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted the pre dinner in honour of the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day 2024 at the square of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening on 26th March.

At the start of pre-dinner, fireworks in commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day were launched from the Armed Forces Day Parade Ground and Bayintnaung Villa.

The State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla cordially greeted the attendees to the pre-dinner in honour of the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day including Deputy Minister for Defense of Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin and his delegation members, SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and wife, the SAC Secretary and wife, the SAC Joint Secretary and wife, SAC members and wives, Union level officials and wives, dignitaries, representatives from various organizations and guests.

Before and during the pre dinner, the artistes from the Myawady Entertainment Troupe of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare under the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and other artistes performed song entertainment.

After the dinner, the Senior General and party cordially greeted the attendees, and viewed the fireworks launched in commemoration of the successful completion.

The Senior General, his wife and attendees watched the drama play “With These Hands” presented by male and female military personnel under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare to the accompaniment of the Myawady Band in Thabin Hall of Zeyathiri Beikman.

After the entertainment, the Senior General and his wife presented the flower baskets to those entertainers and cordially greeted the attendees.

In honoring the commemoration of 79th Armed Forces Day, along the entrance road to the compound of the Commander In Chief (Army), the ornamental lightings are being put on the emblems and badges of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, Air) and military commands, replicas of Warship, Helicopter, armoured vehicles and the statues of three Kings who founded the first, second and third Myanmar and the attendees to the pre-diner also watched the lightings happily.
