Regional Progress In Pakokku: Chief Minister Attends Opening Of New Buildings

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with officials visited Pakokku on 24th January to attend opening of the main arch of Pokkoku University and new tar paving road. First, the Chief Minister together with the regional ministers formally opened the arch of the University.

Later, the Union Minister and party inaugurated AungZabu male hostel in the university campus and viewed around the hostel. The Chief Minister then attended a research paper reading ceremony marking 21st Anniversary of the Pakkoku University and gave guidance.

The Chief Minister and party also attended opening of Shwe tar paving road in Pakokku hailing 75th Anniversary Union Day and viewed around the road. Later, the Region Chief Minister and party attended opening of multi-purpose shelter in Kunn village, Pakokku Township.

The Chief Minister called for the maintenance of long-term durability of the building and disaster risk reduction.

 The Region Chief Minister and officials formally opened the building and cordially greeted the locals and presented commemorative gifts.

They then attended opening of oxygen plant constructed by the contribution of Magway Region Government in People’s Hospital in Pakokku and inspected operation of the plant.They then looked into ICU, COVID-19 treatment ward and operation theatre.
