Regional Stability: Senior General visits the Loikaw ROC

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by concerned officials inspected peace and stability measures in Loikaw Regional Operations Command on 4th September.

Commander of Loikaw Regional Operations Command Colonel Aung Kyaw Khaing clarified the security measures jointly conducted by Tatmadawmen and members of Myanmar Police Force, destructive activities of the KNPP, KNDF and PDF terrorist insurgents as well as the capture of PDF terrorists and the seizures of arms and ammunition.

Upon reports, the Senior General outlined the significant efforts of the senior military officials, Tatmadawmen and their families in launching counter attacks against terrorist insurgents within Loikaw and Shan State (North) to protect the lives and properties of the citizens.

The senior General urged to accelerate the security measures in Loikaw Township and nearby areas to return to normalcy. He also called for the concerted efforts of the relevant individuals in conducting security measures during Population and Housing Census enumeration.
