Terrorists attack in Taungtha: PDFs destroyed factory and vehicles in Taungtha

Terrorists exploded the public roads and bridges in addition to disturbing government’s projects, launching arson attacks on governmental buildings, schools and houses.

They also engaged in fighting and dropped bombs on the villages aiming to deteriorate the peace and stability of the country and rule of law, economic growth, trade flows and socio-economic status of people.They attempted to destroy the natural gas pipeline near Mingan village in Taungtha township of Mandalay Region by attacking security force members about 300 metres south of the natural gas pipeline using heavy and small weapons.

Therefore, security forces conducted a counterattack, and they retreated to the East direction. Moreover, terrorists so-called PDF riding seven motorcycles arrived at the Ministry of Industry’s Taungtha vest factory, which is 2,000 metres north of Taungtha, Monday.

They destroyed the fence, office and two vehicles. Moreover, they took three factory staff motorcycles. They set fire to the factory, resulting in injuries to the factory workers. The security members conducted security measures in Taungtha township.
