Viet Nam boosts Affordable Housing Project in Mega-Cities

The affordable housing segment has gained interest among home buyers in large cities in Viet Nam recently due to the high demand exceeding the affordable housing supply.

To address this, many landlords have introduced Class C apartments, which average below 2,000 USD per square meter. These apartments are located in the western area of Ho Chi Minh City.Affordable housing projects are anticipated to stimulate the real estate market starting in 2024.

Particularly, the amended law on Real Estate Business, Housing and Land, set to take effect in 2025, will further encourage the development of affordable housing projects in mega-cities.
