Viet Nam enterprises strive for green transformation

A business forum on green economic development was held on Wednesday in Hanoi to seek ways to accelerate green economic development in Viet Nam. The forum provided an ideal venue for representatives from state management agencies, businesses, and experts to devise policies and put forth solutions specifically to promote the Vietnamese economy’s green transformation.
Experts analyzed the challenges facing green transformation in Viet Nam. They stressed coordination between central and local agencies, new financial mechanisms, especially the green bond and green credit market, and favourable conditions for the carbon credit market to thrive.
