World’s Biggest Thermometer in Shanghai Dismantled

Recently, Shanghai residents discovered that the thermometer on the chimney by the Huangpu River was missing. In this regard, the Shanghai Power Station of Art said that it was dismantled due to exceeding the time limit and posing safety hazards. 

This 165-meter-long thermometer can be called the largest thermometer in the world. It was designed and built for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It has functions such as weather forecast reminders and light warnings and it is also the world's tallest weather signal tower. Shanghai Power Station of Art stated that the giant thermometer will return to creativity in the future.
