72nd Anniversary: Prime Minister sends message on the Kayah State Day

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General ThadoeMaha ThayaySithu ThadoeMaha ThiriThudhamma Min Aung Hlaing sent a message on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of Kayah State Day, which falls on January 15th.

The Prime Minister wished for the physical and mental well-being of all union people, including Kayah nationals. Situated in the eastern hilly region of Myanmar, Kayah State is endowed with beautiful landscapes, natural resources, and a rich traditional culture. With favorable climatic conditions, combined with the friendliness and honesty of the local ethnic groups, Kayah State has developed significantly.

However, at present, armed conflicts, riots, terrorist acts, and destructive actions are occurring in ethnic areas, including Kayah State, causing considerable suffering to the locals. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for special consideration to achieve lasting peace in the country.

He called for the cooperative efforts of all national brethren to achieve positive results through a correct outlook on the recent situation in the country. He added that the key resolution for the current crisis lies in national reconciliation, consolidation, and peace.

In building a union based on democracy and a federal system, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of mutual respect, understanding, and trust among all national brethren. He urged Kayah nationals to actively participate in this process with the correct outlook and unity.
