Academic Matters: MOE Union Minister meets Rectors and Principals

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe presided over a work coordination meeting with the Rectors of the Universities and Principals of the Education Degree Colleges at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

While delivering opening remarks, the Union Minister said that universities and degree colleges across the nation have opened today and students are attending the classes respectively.

All of the teachers are urged to focus on their teacing duties and every faculty member is encouraged to make concerted efforts for the smooth school enrollment of the students and to form a peaceful learning environment for the students.

Then, the Deputy Minister, Permanent Secretary and Director General of the Department of Higher Education made sector-wise discussions. The meeting was concluded by the closing remarks of the Union Minister.
