Agricultural Development: Visit to Yezin Agricultural University

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is continuously working on promotion of teaching/learning processes of the Yezin Agricultural University.

On 16th February, Deputy Minister Dr. Tin Htut met with the rector and faculties of the University and made discussion on conducting Meta-Analysis and Crop Yield Gap Analysis, as well as providing Soil and Hydrology courses along with research studies.

Then, the Deputy Minister inspected the teaching process of the Department of Agriculture and provided necessary instructions on systematic maintenance of curriculums and teaching aid equipment, overseeing the experimental plot of testing various kinds of green manure.

Next, the Deputy Minister inspected the teaching process of the Department of Agronomy and made discussions on importance of raising farmer awareness and developing interpersonal skill of the students.

Then, the Deputy Minister cordially greeted the students and delivered words of encouragement.

Likewise, the Deputy Minister inspected the Department of Food Science and Technology and provided necessary instructions on teaching process. He also coordinated requirements on providing assistance for the graduate students in establishing MSME enterprises.
