Capacity Building Workshop: Undergraduate Course Development in Myanmar and Viet Nam

A Workshop on “The Development of the Capacity Building Action Plan for Undergraduate Programme of Technological Universities in Myanmar and Viet Nam” took place in Mandalay on Sunday.

The workshop is part of the project titled "Enhancing Capacity Building in Science and Technology through Close Collaboration between Mandalay Technological University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology," being implemented with the ASEAN India Fund by Mandalay Technological University.

The opening speech was delivered by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, followed by speeches from the Mandalay Region Chief Minister and the Indian Consul General. The workshop proceeded with explanations from the Pro-Rector of Mandalay Technological University and the Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, followed by a presentation from the Project Director.

During the workshop, the Qualification Assessment Reports for Undergraduate Courses at universities in Viet Nam and the Technological Universities in Myanmar was presented with active participation from teachers, youth experts, and students. The workshop will continue until the 4th of March.
