Care for the Future: Care for the Future donation program to school in Yangon

Organized to commemorate the Myanmar-China Friendship, the Heart to Silk Road Care for the Future donation program and Myanmar-China friendship culture and education exchange ceremony was held at MIEC School at the precinct of Myanmar Sports Hotel on Lay Daunt Kan Road in Thingangyun Township of Yangon Regio in 8:30 AM on 16th January.

At the ceremony, Chairmanof Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central)Mr. Xu Jian Guo and Patron of theMyanmar-China Cooperation Central AssociationUnion Auditor General (retired) U Tin Oo gave an opening speech.

Next,Mrs. Qiaoli, Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of Chinain Myanmar spoke about Myanmar-China friendship and cooperation,Yangon Region Head of Education Department Daw Cho Cho Myat Aung talked aboutcooperation in education and U Nay Oak, chairman of the Nay Oak Foundation,also discussed social cooperation.

Next, on behalf of China Foundation for Peace and Development and Myanmar-China Cooperation Central Association, secretary of association Mr. Xu Jian Guo donated stationeries, LED bulbs, Sports wares and Relative Paukfaw Magazine totaling worth 10 million Kyats to the Yangon Teachers’ Practicing Middle School (Yankin) and the responsible persons returned the certificate of honor.

Then, Senior President of Myanmar-China Cooperation Central Association U Thitsar (a) Mr. Li Bo Bo handed certificate of honor to the volunteers from Yangon University of Foreign Languages and the responsible persons expressed words of thank.

2024 is the China-ASEAN Cultural Exchange Year, and to deepen education and people-people cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Myanmarand to promote thesustainable and stable development of bilateral relations.
