Central Committee meeting: SAC member DPM Union Minister gave an address

Chairman of the Central Committee on Ensuring the Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods, State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo attended the 2/2024 meeting of the central committee in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, the Central Committee Chairman said that regarding with the fuel, it’s needed to supervise for the people to buy the fuel in a fair price and for the entrepreneurs to sell it in accordance with the reference price and not to sell illegal fuel.

The Union Minister pointed out the arrests of illegal fuel in the regions and states, completion of installing CCTV at 52 toll Gates, completion of developing software application for the public to inquire the price of fuel from nearest fuel station.

Regarding with the edible oil, the wholesale price for the domestic market has been issuing weekly. The central committee Chairman also highlighted the inflow of export earnings from October, 2023 to February, 2024, requirement to take action against those companies remained to deposit export earnings in line with the procedures of the relevant departments etc.

Next, the attendees Central Committee members and special invited guests clarified the relevant sectors. After fulfilling requirements on the clarifications and giving supplemented discussion, the Chairman of the Central Committee General Mya Tun Oo gave a speech of conclusion.
