Chinese premier urges improvements to living conditions of quakeaffected people

On Saturday, Premier Li Qiang visited several villages in quake hit areas in Qinghai Province. Li has called for using all possible means to improve living conditions of affected people in earthquake-hit areas and make sure they live through winter days safely.

During the visits, the premier talked with people affected by the disaster and learned about the work related to resettlement, relief supplies and the construction of temporary dwellings. He urged the best possible medical treatment for injured in the quake and local governments to release disaster relief information in a timely manner and actively respond to the concerns of the affected people.
