Residents of a neighborhood in northern Bolivia, are displaced to a sports field turned shelter, where they receive clothes and food kits.

The city, located in the Bolivian Amazon, is dealing with unprecedented flooding caused by heavy rains and the subsequent overflow of the Acre River on the border with Brazil, with water levels reaching 17 meters. The rainy season in Bolivia, which began in December and will last until March, has so far left 40 people dead and nearly 10,000 families affected, according to the government.
