Disseminating Legal Knowledge: MOLA organizes a work coordination meeting

The 4th work coordination meeting of the Ministry of Legal Affairs took place at the meeting room of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday with the attendance of Union Minister for Legal Affairs Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo, region/state Advocate General and many other concerned officials.

During the meeting, the Union Minister said that implementations are underway for the development of the Ministry by collaborating with foreign countries and international organizations. She added that construction of Legal Advocacy Centre in Nay Pyi Taw is completed 96 percent, and it aims to disseminate legal knowledge and to provide legal services to the public.

Moreover, the Strategic Plan 2020-2024 of the Ministry of Legal Affairs is being implemented under the theme “Legal Service for Justice and Fairness”, and 2024 is the final year of the project.

After that a new five-year Strategic Plan is planned to carry out from 2025 to 2029. Under the management of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, the Legal Knowledge Dissemination Training Course is opened for civil service personnel and presenting Certificate of Legal Advocacy to the trainees.

The Union Minister stressed that the work process for disseminating legal knowledge is the priority task of the Ministry as instructed by the State Administration Council Chairman, she urged all to make concerted efforts for the success of the tasks.
