Education Sector: Shan State Government honours outstanding students

Shan State Government held the 2023-2024 academic year plenary festival on Monday in Taunggyi. Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended the festival at the No. 1 Basic Education High School which began with performances by students.

There, the Chief Minister highlighted the important role of the Ministry of Education for human resources development. He also urged teachers to train students with activities for all-round development including problem solving and communication skills, team work and innovation.

And, the Chief Minister and officials presented awards to central- and state-level outstanding students. They also enjoyed a performance by students from No. 4 and No. 1 basic education high schools and presented cash award. Also, the Chief Minister viewed the booths in commemoration of the festival.
