Environmental cleaning task: Weekly collective cleaning and greening carried out

The environmental cleaning and pleasantness of region/districts/townships, pagodas, monasteries, schools and hospitals in Magway Region are being carried out every Saturday.

On 6th January, the collective cleaning and greening tasks of departments was carried out at the roadsides and steps to the Magway Myathalun Pagoda starting from 7 AM and the region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Commander of Magway station Brigadier General Tun Win, region government ministers and departmental officials oversaw and encouraged the tasks.

The collective cleaning and greening tasks were performed by the Tatmadawmen, members of Maternal and Child Welfare Association, staff personnel of the General Administration Department, members of Myanmar Police Force and Myanmar Fire Brigade, staff personnel from Township development Committee, teachers, ward administrators and the civil society organizations.

Similarly, in the townships in the region, the collective cleaning and greening tasks are also performed every Saturday under the guidance of the Magway Region government, it’s reported.
