Eurostar traffic resumes at Gare du Nord station in Paris

Eurostar trains resumed normal services on Sunday.The company operates services from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. All traffic was halted on Saturday after two tunnels in southern England flooded, stranding around 30,000 passengers on New Year's Eve.

The company has not revealed what initially caused the flooding which began Friday night when water filled tunnels in Kent, blocking the high-speed rail line. The spokesman said the cause of the flooding will be investigated.
