Fake News: Clarifying the fabricated news

The destructive media Khit Thit is distributing false news through social media stating that Tatmadawmen from Thaton Local Station in Mon State on 19th December launched attack to the residential areas with the use of heavy weapons and a 26 year-old pregnant woman from Kyone Hmain Village was killed. Regarding to this fake news, the concerned security official and locals responded that Tatmadaw didn’t launch any attack, and instead, the terrorists launched attack with the use of heavy explosive weapons. 

And, also the destructive media Than Lwin Times is distributing fake news on social media that on the 17th of December, mine attack was launched to the Tatmadaw column who raided Nyaung Zin Village in Thetyat Chaung Township of Thaninthayi Region and seized valuable things from households forcefully. According to an official, on December 17, Tatmadaw did not go to Nyaung Zin Village and mine attack did not happen. The destructive media outlets are distributing fake and false news on social media to create misunderstanding between Tatmadaw and local public.
