Football Tournament: U-25 matches for Magway Region CM's Trophy

The 2024 U-25 Inter-District Football Tournament for the Magway Region Chief Minister’s Trophy kicked off on Monday evening in Magway.

Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended this football tournement opening and highlighted the aims which are to raise the health and fitness levelof the people in the country, to gain good habits of team work by doing sports activities and to turn out a new generation of young people who are developed and good football athletes.

The Chief Minister also urged the athletes to train continuously to improve skills and develop modern sports techniques. And, he ceremonially opened the football tournament, provided sports gear and enjoyed the 1st match between the Thayet District Team and the Aunglan District Team.

This 2024 U-25 Inter-District Football Tournament is participated by 6 teams and the third place and final matches will be held on January 18 along with an awarding ceremony.
