Free Transport Available for Homecoming Travel

Indonesia Transportation Ministry provides free transportation tickets for travelers wishing to return to their home towns during Idul Fitri long holiday.

During this period, most Indonesians wish to do homecoming or also known as ‘Mudik’. Plans are being made to provide more than 80,000 free transportation tickets for travelers in various modes of transportation, including land, sea, and train rides.

The Ministry initiated the program to manage the expected surge in private vehicle usage, particularly motorcycles, during the festive season. Additionally, the program extends to provide complimentary motorcycle shipping services, allowing citizens to mobilize conveniently at their destinations and individuals are urged to consider alternative modes of transportation for a safer and more secure journey.
