Honoring MPF members: Rakhine State CM honored and provided cash assistance

Chairman of the Rakhine State Natural Disaster Management Committee, Chief Minister U Htein Lin along with the state Ministers on Tuesday visited Sittwe Multipurpose Terminal.

There, the Chief Minister gave words of honor and encouragement and provided cash assistance to the members of Myanmar Police Force who participated in rescue and rehabilitation works which are carried out in Cyclone MOCHA affected areas and will serve their original duties at their respective places.

Meanwhile, at Khine Thazin Hall in Sittwe Township, Baby Health and Growth Competition in commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Independence Day was held with the presence of the Chief Justice of the State High Court, Patron of the State Maternal and Child Welfare Association and many other concerned officials.

And, they provided snacks and gifts to the children. Altogether 150 children of aged 6 months to 1 year and 6 months participated in the competition and it’s reported that prizes will be presented to winner children at the 76th Anniversary of Independence Day ceremony.
