India’s Cheetah mission see new cubs

Five year old Female cheetah Gamini gave birth to five cubs on 10th March in India.

A female cheetah has delivered 5 cubs. With this addition, the count of Indian-born cheetah cubs rises to 13. This marks the fourth litter of cheetahs born in India and the inaugural litter from cheetahs imported from South Africa.

This takes the tally of the Indian born cubs to 13. The India’s environment Minister congratulated the team of forest officers, vets, and field staff for ensuring a stress-free environment for cheetahs. The total number of cheetahs, including cubs in Kuno National Park, has risen to 26.
