Inspection of factories: MIFER UM inspected CMP factories in Yangon

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Vice Chairman of Myanmar Investment Commission Dr. Kan Zaw together with Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and departmental officials visited Asia Caps Co., Ltd which produce variety of caps using CMP system in Yangon Industrial Zone, Mingalardone Township of Yangon Region on Sunday.

There, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister heard reports on the operation, monthly production and export volume of the company, importing raw materials, creating job opportunities for locals and further investments and coordinated necessities on enhancing production capacity, increasing investments and development of CMP system. Then, the Union Minister and Chief Minister viewed around the factory.

It’s learnt that Asia Caps Co., Ltd has created a total of 1,400 job opportunities for the locals and exporting about 250,000 variety of caps to foreign countries monthly.

Afterward, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister visited Sun-Flower Lace Co.,Ltd in Mingalardon Industrial Zoneand heard reports on operation and production capacity of the company, further investments and the difficulties encountered submitted by the officials. After hearing reports, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister fulfilled the requirements on accelerating export volume and conducting Corporate Social Responsibility program.

Then, the Union Minister and party looked around the factory. Sun-Flower Lace Co., Ltd is producing one of the best lace embroidery clothings and run 3 factories in Myanmar creating about 3,000 job opportunities for the locals.
