Inspection of factories: MoI Union Minister inspected factories in Yangon

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than on Tuesday made inspection on production of IV fluids, workshops, storages for raw materials and Daycare Center at the Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein).

During the inspection, Union Minister made instruction on systematic implementation of storage room management and conducting training courses, drafting SOP relating with the current implementation tasks of storage room and preparing of spare equipment to be able to produce medicine and medical supplies ordered by the Ministries of Defense, Health and Labour in time.

Upon the reports of the Factory Manager, the Union Minister instructed for boosting production of medicine and medical supplies to be able to provide better health care services to the public. In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited Yuzana Palm Oil Mill in Thaketa Township. After hearing the reports of the officials, the Union Minister urged all for continuous operating of the mill to meet local consumption and create more job opportunities for locals. Then, the Union Minister and officials viewed around the production processes of the mill.
