Inspection of preparations: MoSYA Union Minister inspected preparations for YLAF

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan accompanied by the Deputy Ministers, Director General of the Department of Sports and Physical Education and concerned officials on Monday visited Wunna Theikdi Stadium-B in Nay Pyi Taw where Youth and Literary Arts Festival in commemoration of the 76th Independence Day will be held.

The Union Minister and party then oversaw the preparations for the commemorative photos of sports activities, portraits of gold medal winners, literature, activities related to the youth sector and quizzes and E-sport exhibitions and coordinated the needs.

And, the Union Minister enjoyed the demonstrations of judo, vovinam, basketball, taekwondo, wushu, boxing, martial arts, gymnastics, volleyball and the fitness dance performances by the respective athletes. He gave instructions to the demonstration teams to strive for best performances and the administrators/trainers to supervise their respective teams.

The Youth and Literary Arts Festival is set to take place from 20th to 22nd December at Wunna Theikdi Stadium-B in Nay Pyi Taw. This festival includes displays of 62 booths from 15 ministries along with entertainment programs, discussion sessions with artists, traditional food stalls and bookstores. Those who are interested are invited to join for free.
