Inspection of Regional development: Kachin State CM inspected devt. works in Puta-O

The Kachin State Chief Minister U KhetHtien Nan made ground inspection of regional development works and agriculture and livestock breeding activities with Country Economic Promotion Fund second revolving year in Puta-O District which is the northernmost Region in Kachin State of the country in the evening on 27th April.
First, in the afternoon, the Chief Minister together with the Chief Justice of State High Court, State Ministers and departmental officials viewed the camping training of State selection women Volleyball Team who will participated in 2024 Regions and States U-21 Volleyball competition and the Chief Minister provided cash assistance for the team including two selection athletes from Khaunglanphuu Region of Puta-O District.
Next, the Chief Minister gave words of encouragement for the athletes.Then, the Chief Minister viewed the summer sports training of badminton practicing and swimming training and gave necessary instruction to the responsible officials for the safety of the athletes.
After that, the Chief Minister together with State Minister for natural resources and departmental officials arrived at Puta-O Township by air in the evening and proceeded to Pu Taung Village accompanied by the Interim commander of stationed Tactical Operations Command, members of District/Township Administration Bodies and departmental officials.In the Pu Taung Village, the Chief Minister looked the breeding of 80 local pigs by local farmer group as a Village project with 20 million Kyats from Country Economic Promotion Fund second revolving year, inspected vegetable plantation in the residential compounds and work implementation with small scale rice mills and provided veterinary medicines and sacks of supplemental mixed animal feeds, it’s reported.
