Inspection Tour: MoC UM inspected factories in YGN and AYA Regions

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn together with the Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and officials met with the exporters at Pathein Industrial Project Office in Pathein Township in the morning on 7th January discussed the related matters.

One of exporters clarified about the Project and the Union Minister instructed for the stability of domestic agricultural products market, sufficiency of domestic consumption and requirement of cooperation among the farmers and the exporters and organizations, implementation for the operation of all factories and workshops, expansion of production capacity, management for the quality improvement and linkage of trade information to be accessible in timely manner.

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected Pathein Rice Mill of Ayeya-Hintha Trading Co., Ltd, Ayeyawady International Industrial Port, Garment Factory of SHUANGXI Garments Co., Ltd. Then, the Union Minister inspected the processes of prawn hatchery operation in the cold storage factory of Ayeyawaddy fisheries Ltd and instructed to carry out to meet the required quality and standard, workers’ safety and expansion of export.

Afterward, the Union Minister and party inspected Paddy Star Rice Mill and Warehouse in Myaungmya Township and coordinated requirements.

Later, the Union Minister and party visited Corn warehouse of Shwe Me Group of Companies in Shwepyitha Township of Yangon Region, viewed the process of purification and packaging of corn for export, instructed to export the surplus of corn after assuring domestic sufficiency of animal food and adopt the specified rules and regulation for the accessibility of foreign market share and coordinated requirements.
