Inspection Tour: MoEP UM inspected work implementations

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun together with the officials inspected work implementation of the Yamethin District Electric Power Engineer Office in Mandalay Region and the construction of 66/33/11 KV 30 MVA Yamethin substation in the morning on January 6.

At the briefing hall of 66/33/11 KV 30 MVA Yamethin substation construction project, the responsible officials clarified the completion of work implementation of 66 KV Shwemyo-Yamethin powerline and related substation project.

Next, the Union Minister gave instruction to implement prioritizing civil works such as digging hole, erecting post and connecting powerlines during the opening season and farmers’ harvesting period, after connecting Power lines, it’s needed to inspect and supervise not to grow the perennial trees and not to be encroached by the squatters under the Powerlines, the project works need to complete within the scheduled time and the Union Minister inspected the status of completing work implementations in the worksite.

Afterward, the Union Minister and party visited Yamethin District Electric Power Engineer Office and the responsible officials clarified the status of Power utilization and Power supply in the townships and villages in the Yamethin District, collecting meter bills, rendering Services to the public who utilize the Electric Power, implementation for reducing Power losses and the plans to be carried out as per the fiscal year.

Upon the clarification, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction in detail and inspected work implementations in the office and cleaning and greening tasks implemented at the precinct of the office.
