Inspections: Inspection of road and water access project

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung on Thursday inspected completion of the 4-mile earthen road construction leading to the 5th Swe Taw Myat Pagoda built by the King Anawrahta on the west PyatKhaYway Mountain near MyaThuKha Village in Myittha Township of Kyaukse District.

And, the Union Minister instructed concerned officials to upgrade the road as a solid one to use in all seasons. And, the Union Minister inspected the precinct of the Pagoda and gave necessary instructions to concerned officials. In YwaShay Village of Wundwin Township, the Union Minister inspected water access project implemented by the Department of Development of Border Areas and Ethnic People and held talks with locals.

Also, the Union Minister inspected the Meikhtila District Development Supervisory Office, heard report on regional development works, conditions of vehicles and machines, storage of facilities for development activities and gave necessary instructions.
