International collaboration in construction of lunar research station

With three lunar probes slated before the decade’s end, China will welcome further international collaboration in the construction of a lunar research station, according to an official with the China National Space Administration (CNSA).

The CNSA and Thai Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation inked memorandums of understanding on the cooperation in the exploration and peaceful use of outer space and international lunar research stations in Beijing on Friday.

According to the memorandums, the two countries will set up joint committees and working groups on space exploration, applications and space capacity building, strengthening collaboration through joint space projects, scientific exchanges, etc.
