Japan earthquake Ishikawa damages

Ishikawa Prefecture has announced that more than 30,000 buildings were damaged in the Noto Peninsula earthquake on 1st January.

The city of Wajima has released some damage figures for the first time. Ishikawa Prefecture has released the names and ages of ten victims with the consent of their families.

They all died when houses collapsed. 232 people have so far been confirmed dead in Ishikawa Prefecture and the number of victims whose names and relevant details have been released is now 103.
