Japan Kishida, Indonesia Prabowo talks

Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumiomet the Indonesia President-elect Prabowo in Tokyo on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Kishida congratulated Prabowo on his election victory, and described Indonesia as a wonderful partner that shares Japan’s basic values and principles. The prime minister also expressed his wish for the two countries to work closer together on bilateral as well as regional and international matters.

Kishida and Prabowo agreed to cooperate further on issues such as national security, the economy and disaster prevention.
