Legal Affairs :Trining for newly appointed Law Officers

An opening ceremony of training course No. 1/2024 for Law Officers-4 (Probationary) took place at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister for Legal Affairs, Union Attorney General Dr.Thida Oo said that this training course is conducted to selected new law officers in accordance with the the Attorney General By-laws, aiming to understand rules and regulations of civil service personnal and codes of ethic of law officers while learning legal subjects.

The Union Minister added that the Ministry is providing various types of legal services including provision advice for drafting bills, international contracts and business contracts in accordance with Legal Service Strategic Plan (2020-2024). Likewise, the Ministry established Myanmar Law Information System (MLIS), as part of legal service.

She added that the trainees will be conducted by invited experts, and urged all trainees to try hard during their training period for providing effective legal services to the public and to become notable law officers for the nation.
