Lula attends military ceremony to celebrate sailor's day in Brazil

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva attends a ceremony to celebrate Brazilian Sailor's Day at Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro, during which he gives an honorary medal to members of the Brazilian Navy. 

Brazilian Sailor's Day is celebrated on December 13. The holiday was established to honor Joaquim Marques Lisboa, who was the first Brazilian native Admiral in the Brazilian Navy.
