Maintenance Works: MOEP Union Minister visits Hlawgar Mechanical Branch

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun together with departmental officials inspected the work undertaking of Mechanical Branch (Hlawgar) in Mingladon Township, Yangon on Sunday.

Officials reported on the major maintenance operations of machinery and vehicles used in the projects by the financial years and the storage of spare parts in the warehouses. Upon the reports, the Union Minister said that since Hydropower projects are relying mainly on machinery, it is necessary to prepare the parts to be repaired and to utilize full capacity of the machines.

He also highlighted to maintain the list of the materials systematically and to transport some materials for the projects before the rainy season. Then, the Union Minister observed the repair works of machinery and vehicles used in heavy projects, storage of spared part and staff housing, and instructed the necessaries.
